Hilltop Montessori School is an established independent Montessori School serving approximately 120 children Pre-K through 8th grade on its new 43 acre campus. HMS invites school leaders with a deep commitment to Montessori and a successful record of team building and management to apply for the position of Head of School for fall of 2010. The Head of School will lead and support the faculty and staff in the implementation of the mission and goals of HMS while effectively engaging both the parent and greater Brattleboro community in support of HMS. Must be a team player and possess a strong understanding of: supervision, evaluation, and professional development of personnel; strategic planning; budgeting; fundraising and development; admissions; campus management and summer programs. A consistent record of satisfactory performance in previous employment and strong communication skills are required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Montessori Certification AMS or AMI preferred
Relevant Master’s Degree preferred
Prior teaching and administrative experience required
