Founded in 1998 Tatum Ranch Montessori School is a traditional Montessori school focused on nurturing the individual learning style of each student. Our mission is to provide students with an educational foundation they will need as they move forward toward the future. We believe any school is only as good as the teacher. Our management style is “laid back” providing teachers with the opportunity & autonomy of creating their own classroom environment. We are committed toward parent involvement & on going school reflection.
Physically our school campus is on 2 ½ acres and reflects the design of a small ranch consisting of five large & well supplied classrooms w/ outside patios, garden areas, two big playgrounds, a petting area w/ one large horse, one miniature horse, & two pigmy goats, and beautiful landscaping reflecting the flora & fauna of the southwestern desert.
We are located in the northeastern part of the Phoenix metro area & are 5 minutes to desert mountain hiking/biking, 30 minutes from exciting cultural/sporting amenities in downtown Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe/Glendale, & we are just a few hours from pine trees, ski slopes, and the Grand Canyon.
